Silver fish control

Understanding
silverfish
Silverfish are commonly found in homes where boxes, books, and other paper goods and foods consumed by silverfish are stored. While they aren’t poisonous or harmful, they leave unsightly stains on these products where they chew or graze, ranging from light to dark gray. Silverfish don’t bite, but they’re kind of creepy, because of the way they move. Some people have an allergic reaction when they are around, possibly because of the skins they shed when they molt. They range from a half-inch to an inch in length.
Silverfish Identification
Silverfish are aptly named, both for their silver color and the
fish-like characteristics of their movement. Their molted
shells can also be a sign you have silverfish.
Treatment and Prevention of Silverfish
Preventing silverfish is as easy as having regular visits from a pest control service. Other helpful tips include storing foods made from starches in tightly sealed containers, and eliminating unnecessary boxes and papers which attract silverfish.
